India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is finding it hard to erase the memories of World Cup 2019 semi-final loss. He had put up a great show with the bat in a chase of 239 runs against New Zealand.

Jadeja came out to bat when India was 6 down on 92 after Hardik Pandya's dismissal. He went on to score 77 runs off 59 deliveries and ended up the highest scorer for his team.

MS Dhoni was standing with him and they both added 116 runs for the seventh wicket before Jadeja fell on the last ball of 48th over. Eventually, the game came to a sad ending for India with Dhoni getting run-out in the penultimate over. India lost the match by 18 runs.

Jadeja posted a throwback picture from the match and wrote he still has the memories fresh in his head. "We try our best but still fall short sometimes ???? One of the saddest days! #oneyearagotoday," he wrote in his post.
