Latif saw players practicing together and not following social distancing rules.
Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif has lashed out at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the national players for their unprofessional COVID-19 situation handling during the training after a total of ten players tested positive for Coronavirus on Tuesday (June 23).
A day after the announcement that three players had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday (June 22), the PCB Tuesday confirmed that seven more players and support personnel from a total of 35 who underwent testing in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, also contacted the deadly virus.

The Pakistan camp was badly hit by the news of 10 players testing COVID-19 positive and the worst of the shock is that seven of 10 players are from the 29-men squad for the upcoming England tour.
The COVID-19 affected players are Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, and Wahab Riaz.
Following the latest development, Latif has claimed that he saw the Pakistani players who tested positive for COVID-19, practicing outdoors together, and that time, he has sensed that there would be a problem ahead of England tour given the current Coronavirus situation in the country.
Latif said in a video posted on his YouTube channel: “Players who have tested positive were practicing outside together, so there was bound to be a problem. An unprofessional approach from PCB and players is to blame for these positive COVID-19 tests.”
He further added, “I also went to the ground for one day, but I maintained my distance with Rohail Nazir. You have to follow the protocols and keep a distance.”
However, the PCB is still optimistic about the England tour as the board said players and player support personnel, will test negative on June 25, will depart for Manchester on a chartered flight.
