India is scheduled to play Sri Lanka during its limited-overs visit this summer.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will now seek permission from the country's Ministry of Sports to resume bilateral cricket in the country.

The India series, featuring three ODIs and three T20Is, has been shrouded with uncertainty due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It is understood, once the Sri Lankan government gives clearance, the SLC will work on the finer details for the series. The report states that the board wants to have some spectators present in the stands while ensuring social distancing norms.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, is also hoping to play host to the Asia Cup T20, originally scheduled to be played in Pakistan, where the BCCI has already declined to send the Indian team.
SLC chief Shammi Silva has said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is okay with that development.
"We had a discussion with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and they have already agreed to our hosting this edition due to the present world situation," Silva was quoted as saying by Sri Lankan media outlet ‘Ceylon Today’. "We had an online ACC meeting and they basically gave us the green light to host the tournament."
Coming back to India, the national side is yet to resume training, having last played internationally on the tour of New Zealand in March.
Top-level game is set to return with the England-West Indies Test series in July in a bio-secure bubble, without any crowd presence and in adherence with the highest safety protocols.
