Pandya didn't pick either Ravindra Jadeja or Ben Stokes in his 6-man team.
Hardik Pandya picked Caribbean star batsman Chris Gayle for his gully cricket (street cricket) team over his Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. The side consisting of only six players had no place for Ravindra Jadeja or Ben Stokes.
In a chat with Harsha Bhogle, Hardik was asked to name his team from given options for every slot. For openers, he got Rohit, David Warner, Gayle, KL Rahul, and Quinton de Kock as options. He was clear with his pick and named Gayle.

The reason to pick Gayle over other big names is that Hardik was a huge fan of the West Indies legend even before he got into international cricket.
Hardik also added that he likes Caribbean players because of their confidence. He has a liking towards them but the all-rounder denied settling down in Jamaica or Trinidad after retirement.
The other members of his teams are India captain Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and another West Indies destructive batsman Andre Russell. Russell got picked over Jadeja and Stokes. He further named Krunal Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah the other two players of his team to finally complete it.
