Veteran wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni, who is known for his accurate calculations in a chase, was cornered by the cricket pundits when India lost against England in World Cup 2019.

It was a baffling approach by the former India captain to not go for big hits despite India needing over 10 runs an over when he walked out to bat.

India's defeat had also made things tougher for Pakistan in the World Cup and that irked the ex-Pakistan cricketers who went on to slam India after the match. They had accused their neighbors of losing purposely. Waqar Younis had openly tweeted that India didn't even try to win.

After almost 10 months of the World Cup, the match between India and England is getting discussed again because of Ben Stokes' comments. He too was surprised by Team India's run-chase with no intent, as Stokes wrote in his book.

Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq is the latest one to share his opinion on the matter. Speaking in an interview with a TV channel, Razzaq said that it was India's conspiracy against Pakistan.

“There is no doubt in this. I had told this at that time as well. In fact, everyone else opined the same. For a person who can hit fours and sixes at will, he was blocking everything...Hence, one tends to know,” Razzaq said. The ex-cricketer was talking about Dhoni who couldn't get boundaries for his teams in the end.
