With no international or domestic cricket going on due to the COVID-19 pandemic, star players are keeping themselves busy with social media activities.

On Sunday (May 17), Indian cricket skipper Virat Kohli had a long interaction with country’s football captain Sunil Chhetri on Instagram Live.

During the candid chat, Kohli recalled Venkatesh Prasad’s epic duel with Aamir Sohail from the 1996 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan in Bangalore.

Former Indian pacer Prasad had cleaned up Sohail with a brilliant delivery after he was sledged by the ex-Pakistan opener.

Virat revealed he was at home and watched the action unfold live. The Indian captain said he celebrated the dismissal with the same passion as he does now and called it the most satisfying clean bowled in the history of cricket.

"Where were you exactly when Aamir Sohail hit Venkatesh Prasad for a boundary... trash talked... and then saw his stumps sent for a cartwheel right the next ball?" Chhetri asked.

"I was at home. I celebrated in the same manner as I do today. For me, there is no clean bowled as satisfying as that in the history of the sport. It is one of the most iconic moments," Kohli said.

"That day, not many people in India would forget, regardless if you were a cricket fan or not," Chhetri quipped.

"Those memories are golden memories," Kohli added.

Notably, Aamir Sohail was dismissed on 55, which triggered a collapse as Pakistan eventually fell 39-run short while chasing India’s target of 288 in that all-important quarter-final.

Venkatesh Prasad finished the game with excellent figures of 3/45 in his 10 overs.
