Dhawan also shared his opinion on whether the IPL should be played or not?
India opener Shikhar Dhawan had no second thought in picking MS Dhoni as his favorite captain. He also named his buddy and long-time opening partner, Rohit Sharma as his best batting companion.
Dhawan was chatting with Irfan Pathan on Instagram live when the latter asked him about his cricketing choices.

"(Best batting partner will be) Rohit Sharma... I have only played under Virat and Dhoni, so, as of now, Dhoni bhai," Dhawan said in the video. He also went on to tag Virat Kohli as 'the best batsman all around the world currently'.
Talking about the previous World Cup, where India lost in the semi-final, Dhawan pointed out how flawlessly Rohit batted throughout the tournament. "Rohit did brilliantly in the World Cup as he scored five centuries", he said.
Dhawan had troubles facing left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc and he admitted that the Aussie is the toughest bowler he ever batted against.
There is no assurance of Indian Premier Leauge (IPL) currently because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 34-year-old thinks the tournament will bring positivity whenever it takes place.
"Of course, IPL should take place because people will get positivity from it. Currently, there is only coronavirus news and fear," Dhawan said when asked if the tournament should be played or not.
