The Indian Armed Forces saluted and showed solidarity to the frontline warriors fighting against the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country on Sunday (May 3).
Amid the prevailing conditions in the country due to the deadly disease, Indian Air Force aircrafts flew over across the different regions of the country, showering flower petals on hospitals and police memorials, to express special gratitude towards all the Corona warriors.

The forces – the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force (IAF), and the Indian have paid tribute to all frontline workers including medical professionals, police and sanitation workers who are doing the service of people night and day in this critical situation in order to show the nation's support towards the warriors.
Meanwhile, Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has saluted the Indian Armed forces for showing solidarity with the coronavirus warriors in his unique way.

Taking to Twitter, Tendulkar wrote: “A Big Salute from the Armed Forces to the Warriors on the ground who are helping Flag of India fight the war against this invisible enemy. Massive respect to each one of the #CoronaWarriors. Jai Hind! #IndiaSalutesCoronaWarriors @adgpi @IAF_MCC @indiannavy,”
On the other hand, Suresh Raina also hailed the special gesture by the Indian armed force towards the frontline fighters amid the COVID-19 lockdown. He said on Twitter, “Wonderful gesture by @IAF_MCC to honor our #CoronaWarriors. Their selfless services are the reason that we are able to put up this fight against this terrible pandemic. Gratitude & Salute to all of you.”
Noteworthy, the total number of coronavirus COVID-19 cases has crossed 42000-mark with death toll mounting to 1373 in the country.
