The 25-year-old Samson has played four T20Is for Indian cricket team.
Kerala cricketer Sanju Samson became a popular face at a very young age. He was picked by Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 and became a regular feature in the tournament, also playing for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) for couple of seasons before returning to the Royals.
But unluckily, the 25-year-old has got to play only 4 T20Is for India despite making his debut in 2014. Samson was picked for the tour of England the same year but didn't get an opportunity to play in the ODI series.

Nevertheless, it was a good experience for a 19-year-old to be around cricketers like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
Recently, in an interview with Chennai Super Kings social media presenter Rupha Ramani, Samson shared how he felt after being in the same dressing room with Dhoni.
“I first shared the dressing room with him [MS Dhoni] when we went to England,” Samson said.
Sanju was part of India A side which Dhoni led in January 2017. It was supposed to be his last match as captain in blue, but he went on to lead India again for a match in Asia Cup 2018 against Afghanistan.
Talking about his dream come true moment, Sanju said, “I had a dream that Mahi bhai is the captain of the team. He is changing fields. I was standing in slips or something and he said, ‘Sanju waha ja’,"
The exact moment happened during the game and Samson could recall his dream. “I was in the slips when he said, ‘Sanju udhar jaa’,” he said.
