South Africa’s leading pacer Kagiso Rabada recently said that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli pushes him to give his best on-field and commands utmost respect with his sheer consistency across formats.
When asked about the cricketer that has pushed him to do really good on the field, Rabada took Virat’s name as both have had many on-field battles.
“If you look at one day cricket, I'd say Virat Kohli is the most consistent performer, he is consistent in Test cricket as well. I even like the work of Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson,” he said on a chat show.

The 24-year-old has represented South Africa in 43 Tests and 75 ODIs and has 197 wickets at an average of 22.95 and 117 wickets at 27.34 respectively.
As far as the shortest format is concerned, the right-arm pacer has 30 wickets to his name in 24 T20Is along with 31 wickets in 18 IPL games.
Rabada who has achieved a lot since his ODI and Test debut in 2015 wants to get even better and dreams to win the World Cup for his country.
“Well, it was an ambition of mine to be where I am today. So glad to have reached that pinnacle. All I want to do now is focus on a few things that would make me play better, win a World Cup, that'd be amazing,” the Johannesburg-born cricketer said.
