R Ashwin reveals a misconception he had about cricket while growing up

The ongoing COVID-19 crisis brings all sporting action into halt across the world.

With no cricketing action possible in the current circumstances due to the continuous spread of the novel Coronavirus across the world, all players are confined to their homes and spending time with the loved ones while some of them are making the most social media platforms amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

The whole world including the cricket calendar was badly hit by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which has claimed over 1 lakh lives globally so far and still continues to wreak havoc all over the world with most of the countries extending lockdown to tackle the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Amid the ongoing health crisis, most of the cricketers around the world are making the most of the social media to interact with fans and sharing thoughts on the game, in this regard, veteran Indian off-spinner and Test specialist Ravichandran is on the top from the Indian cricket team.

On Tuesday (April 14), Ashwin has revealed the misconception he had about cricket while growing up when the International Cricket Council (ICC) asked one and all to share a cricketing misconception they had while growing up on Twitter.

To which the off-spinner replied: “That all cricketers had aerated drinks to regain lost energy and keep good health.”

Noteworthy, Ashwin was last seen in action during India’s Test series against New Zealand this February and was scheduled to play for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 which was suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
