Raja had asked Hafeez and Shoaib Malik to call time on their international careers.
Mohammad Hafeez has taken an indirect dig at Ramiz Raja for asking him to retire from international cricket.
Former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja had publicly said a few days ago that Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez should retire from international cricket gracefully meaning that they should retire right now before being dropped from the team.
Ramiz Raja and Shoaib Malik engage in heated banter after former's 'retire gracefully' comment
This has not gone down well with both of them and had their unique ways of replying to the former player. Hafeez, 39, took a dig at Raja indirectly while speaking about the cricketer-turned-commentator’s ego.
He wrote, “Whole world is suffering from ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic Badly.I urge all to behave as better Human & play ur role to Help lesser fortunates.Leave ur Ego behind, forget likes & dislikes.Come out of ur Personal Agendas & look after each other for a better cause..... Plz”

Malik, 38, had replied to an article describing Raja’s comments saying that all three of them (including Raja himself) should retire by 2022 given that they are at the end of their careers.
Yes @iramizraja bhai agreed. Since all 3 of us are the end of our careers let’s retire gracefully together - I’ll call and let’s plan this for 2022? ???? @MHafeez22 #jokes https://t.co/vTwf9zzYOC
