As all the sporting events come to a standstill due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the majority of cricketers are seen spending their quarantine time interacting with fans or conducting Question & Answer sessions on Twitter and India's Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is no different.

Rahane has also joined the bandwagon on Tuesday (April 7) and answered a plethora of questions, including his favorite knock across the formats.

The 31-year-old has rated his 103 against England at Lord's during the 2014 Test series and knock of 79 against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the 2015 World Cup as his two favorite innings of his cricketing career so far.

6 years ago, India clinched their first Test win at the historic Lord's in nearly three decades, riding on Ishant Sharma’s inspired spell and Rahane gritty knock, as the tourists thrashed England by 95 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series.

Rahane's 103 off 154 balls came at a time when India struggled to score against James Anderson led English pace attack, while he also added 90 runs with Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the eighth wicket to help the tourists to recover from a precarious position and register a historic victory at the Lord’s.

Meanwhile, a year later, the right-hander was also part of India’s other memorable victory, as Rahane’s 79 off 60 balls and a crucial 125-run stand with Shikhar Dhawan (137) helped India to make 307/7 in a World Cup match in 2015.

Later, Ravichandran Ashwin’s brilliant bowling performance saw the South African batting lineup that featured the likes of AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, and Quinton de Kock to bowl out for just 177.
