Pakistan's Babar Azam is undoubtedly one of the most talented cricket players of this generation in the world and he also has a huge fan following all around the world, thanks to short domestic stints.
He has made a huge fan base across the world in a short time not only because of his classy batting across the formats of the game but also because he’s a great human being as well.
Azam’s last year stint with Somerset County Cricket Club helped him make a huge number of fans in the United Kingdom, including a 5-year-old Oscar, who loves him so much and even his favorite cricketer.

Recently, one of the youngest fans of Pakistan’s T20I captain Oscar penned down a heartwarming message for his favorite cricketer and even shared a picture of himself along with the cricketer while revealing his meeting after he had surgery on his feet.
On Thursday, April, Somerset Cricket Club has shared that letter by Oscar on its official Twitter handle mentioning Babar Azam. The club captioned the post: “Babar Azam: The hero of millions including 5-year-old Oscar who sent in this.”
In the letter, the 5-year-old cricket fan wrote: “Babar Azam is my favorite cricket player. He was born in Pakistan and he is 25. I met him after my operation on my feet. He was kind to me. He is the best 2020 batsman. He’s the captain of Pakistan. He hits big sixes and one day I saw [him hitting sixes].”
Meanwhile, Azam couldn’t disappoint his young fan, as the 25-year-old on Friday made a 5-year-old fan's day by responding to his heartfelt tribute on social media. He thanked Oscar on Twitter for his kind words and said that he was proud of him.
Babar wrote: “Hey Oscar, thank you so much for such a kind note. I am so proud of you buddy. You are a rockstar. Study hard & play even harder champ! Look forward to meet you.”
