Hogg revealed his choice on Twitter during a Q&A.
Brad Hogg has chosen his favorite leg spinner in the modern era on social media and he did not have to find anyone outside his own country.
One of the finest chinaman bowlers, former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg, has played with the legendary leg spinner Shane Warne and knows a few things about leg-spin. Warne seems to have passed on the knowledge of bowling leg-spin to his Gen-next as per Hogg’s choice of the best leg-spinner in the modern era. Hogg has picked Australia’s Adam Zampa as the one.
A fan asked the former cricketer on Twitter, “Who is your favorite leg spinner in present players?”
Hogg replied to him saying it was Zampa and also gave the reason why he feels so. He has credited his consistency and ability to bowl on all kinds of surfaces. He also appreciated the bowler’s resilience and rated it second to none.
He wrote, “Zampa, because Australia are pace minded in there approach to selection, he is always in & out for a variety of reasons & he keeps proving them he can bowl in all conditions. His Resilience is second to none. #hoggytime #spintowin”
