Dhoni, who was spotted at airport, looked excited to celebrate the new year with his loved ones.
Former India captain MS Dhoni returned home on the new year's eve. Dhoni, who was in Dubai, was spotted at the airport. He will be welcoming the year 2020 with his friends and family in Ranchi.
A video was shared by the fan club of MS Dhoni on Twitter. The cricketer has a wide smile and the feeling of coming back home can be seen on his face.

Dhoni also met Hardik Pandya before leaving for India in Dubai. Pandya will celebrate the new year there only. Both, Hardik and Dhoni haven't played for India in recent tomes. In fact, the 38-year-old cricketer hasn't featured in the team since World Cup 2019.
Pandya, on the other hand, is currently recovering from his back surgery. He has started to practice in nets and will be returning to the side on New Zealand tour, most probably.
There have been a lot of questions on Dhoni's future in cricket. The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is hoping that the veteran cricketer has communicated with the team management about his future.
It was said that MS Dhoni will return in 2020 to play against Sri Lanka in January. But the wicket-keeper batsman hasn't been included in the team. He may be eyeing a good IPL season to be in contention for the T20 World Cup 2020.
