Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has once again grabbed the headlines with his controversial statement. As per Razzaq, Jasprit Bumrah is a baby bowler and he would have no issues in dealing with the Indian pacer, who is currently ranked No. 1 in ODIs and No. 5 in Tests.

Speaking to Cricket Pakistan, Razzaq said: “After having faced world class bowlers in my time, I would have had no problem against a bowler like Bumrah. Pressure would have been on him.”

“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,” he added.

Having made his international debut in 1996, Razzaq represented Pakistan in 46 Tests, 265 ODIs and 32 T20Is. In 2002, he had also become the No.2 all-rounder in the world.

Talking about Bumrah, Razzaq further said, “Bumrah is doing very well and has improved a lot. He has an awkward action and hits the seam perfectly which is why he is effective.”

During the ODI World Cup earlier this year, Razzaq had also offered to help out Hardik Pandya. He asked BCCI to allow him to coach Pandya in Dubai for just 14 days which, according to him, can bring drastic changes in the Indian all-rounder's game.
