Archer received racial comments on the last day of first Test against New Zealand.
England fast bowler Jofra Archer was on target of a fan who made racial comments on him. He found it disturbing, but the cricketer has moved on from it. The 24-year-old was playing his first overseas Test for England when they face New Zealand in the first Test match at the Bay Oval.
On the last day of the Test match, he received hate comments from a spectator. Players from both sides have come into his support. Both the cricketing boards are looking after the incident. The New Zealand cricket board has sent an apology to Archer as well.
"The first thing I want to say about what happened towards the end of the test at Mount Maunganui is that I'm over it," Archer wrote in a column in Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.
"I've left what happened at the ground and I've moved on. I should also say it was just one person who was shouting stuff. But I found the incident a real shame."

Archer played along when he received banters, but he has zero-tolerance for racism.
"If someone wants to shout at me and tell me I'm bowling badly, that's fine. I may not agree but it's fine. It's part of the experience of being a touring cricketer. To hear racism, though - that's another matter. There is no time or place for it in any walk of life, let alone cricket. It's just not called for," he said.
England lost the match in Mount Maunganui by an innings and 65 runs.
