Tendulkar clarified that both of his kids are not on Twitter.
Cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar today took to micro-blogging website Twitter to clarify that neither his son nor his daughter have accounts on Twitter. There is a fake account claiming to be Arjun Tendulkar's profile. Sachin tagged the Twitter handle and requested Twitter to remove the account.
Fake accounts often create misunderstanding and those who aren't aware of it may mistake it for real. The tweets can cause a lot of damage to Arjun with misleading tweets.
"I wish to clarify that my son Arjun & daughter Sara are not on Twitter. The account @jr_tendulkar is wrongfully impersonating Arjun and posting malicious tweets against personalities & institutions. Requesting @TwitterIndia to act on this as soon as possible," wrote Sachin.
Twitter has the policy to remove the fake accounts created to mislead the users. But it was surprising they haven't taken any action on the impersonation account of Arjun Tendulkar. A tweet was made on the account which targetted MSK Prasad for selecting Rishabh Pant.
