Malan and Morgan added 182 runs for the 3rd wicket, as the series was leveled 2-2.
Tim Southee won the toss and chose to bowl first on a batting beauty. Tom Banton made 31 in 20 balls, while Bairstow managed just 8 runs. However, the innings of the series so far came from Dawid Malan and skipper Eoin Morgan, who thumped the Kiwi bowlers to all parts of the ground in their 182-run partnership for the 3rd wicket.
Malan hit his first T20I ton, making 103* in 51 balls with 9 fours and 6 sixes, while Morgan went on a hitting rampage, making 91 in 41 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes as Kiwi bowlers had no idea where to bowl. Both the left-handers took great disdain for the bowlers in the smallish Napier ground and took England to their highest T20I score of 241/3.
Mitchell Santner picked 2/32 in his 4 overs, while other bowlers struggled as Tickner went for 50 runs in his 4 overs and Ish Sodhi was taken for 49 runs in his 3 overs.
Malan was named the Man of the Match, as England drew level in the series 2-2 with one game left to be played in Auckland on 10th November.
