BBL 2019-20: Nathan Coulter-Nile set to join Melbourne Stars on a multi-year deal

The all-rounder will be switching from the most successful franchise in BBL, Perth Scorchers.

31-year-old, Nathan Coulter-Nile has left the most successful franchise in BBL (Big Bash League), Perth Scorchers and has signed a long-term deal with the Melbourne Stars.

This news was confirmed this on Friday on twitter as the tweet from the official handle of the Big Bash League read, “We already know what Nathan Coulter-Nile brings with the ball. @StarsBBL fans - you've also got THIS to look forward to in #BBL09

The all-rounder who featured in Australia’s World Cup campaign in the UK will join the Stars along with fellow Western Australians Lance Morris and Clint Hinchliffe. A tweet from official twitter handle of Melbourne Stars confirmed the three new additions.

The 31-year-old pacer has featured in 38 Big Bash League matches for the Scorchers with 46 scalps to his name to go with 285 runs with the bat. Former Test batsman Hilton Cartwright had already crossed over from the Scorchers to the Stars earlier this year, while Shaun Marsh also departed for the champion Melbourne Renegades.
