Craig McMillan will no longer be part of the New Zealand cricket team staff. His five-year tenure as batting coach came to an end. The 42-year-old former Kiwi cricketer came up with an emotional tweet to express his feelings.

Craig felt proud to be a part of the Blackcaps and had a good time working with the players and his colleagues. His tweet read, "Now that my time as batting coach has finished with the @BLACKCAPS I wanted to say how proud I am to have had 5 years working with the various players & support staff. They are a special group who continue to achieve at the highest level with humility, sportsmanship & do NZ proud.”

McMillan played 55 Test, 197 ODIs and 8 T20Is for New Zealand in his 10-year-long cricketing career.
