Australian cricket team sported vintage jersey against India in the recently concluded ODI series in their backyard. Now it seems that the trend is going to continue in the Australia cricket summer of 2019-20.

While facing India, they wore kit from the 1985-86 Benson & Hedges World Series Cup, which Allan Border-led side had lifted by beating India 2-0 in best of three finals.

But the result wasn't the same when they faced India in 2019. They were crushed by the Indian side in their home. India easily secured the series and returned with 2-1.

Now, Cricket Australia, on their official Twitter account, asked fans to choose the next vintage Aussie kit they would like their team to wear.

Fans voted for the 1999 World Cup winning jersey by a huge number. They picked the kit for the ODI series against New Zealand next summer. Out of 8650 votes, the 1999 World Cup winning kit got 67 percent.
