Walter Chawaguta continues as the convener of selectors.
Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has named Hamilton Masakadza as Zimbabwe's skipper across all three formats of the game while Peter Moor was named his deputy for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday (19th February).
35-year-old Masakadza has extensive experience of leading the national side, having captained Zimbabwe in three Tests, 20 One-Day Internationals and 11 T20s.
The Zimbabwe Cricket Board has decided to retain Masakadza as skipper after he impressively led the side to a draw in a Test series against Bangladesh last year.
Masakadza has scored 581 runs in 26 ODI innings at 22.34 last year, including two half-centuries, while 139 runs from four innings, averaging 34.75 with one half-century in Test cricket last year before taking a break for family reasons.
Meanwhile, Dilip Chouhan has been appointed as Zimbabwe cricket team manager and will be in charge of Zimbabwe senior men side, Zimbabwe A and Zimbabwe Under-19 national teams.
While Walter Chawaguta, Prosper Utseya, and Kenyon Ziehl will join the national board as functional members of the Zimbabwe National Selection Panel.
