Kiran More reveals how Hardik Pandya vented out his anger after suspension from Team India

Pandya had faced backlash from the Indian cricket fans after his misogynist comments.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has suffered a lot because of his mouth. The words he uttered in the show Koffee with Karan cost him endorsements and three-year membership of Bombay Gymkhana club. Pandya was furious after he got suspended from playing for India. He had to come back to the country after BCCI took strict action against him and his buddy KL Rahul.

Kiran More, the former India cricketer, and Hardik's mentor revealed how the Baroda cricketer was hitting the ball in anger after the suspension.

Pandya took out his annoyance by hitting the cricket ball. "When I was working with him in my academy in Baroda, I saw him hitting the ball cleanly. I asked him how he had managed to retain that touch. He told me, 'Sir, I hit a thousand balls in Australia when I was removed.' That's the way to do it," More told India Today.

The former India wicket-keeper More had spotted Hardik's talent and advised his father to let him play cricket. "I remember him as a very talented cricketer, who wanted to do everything - bowl, bat, field and he wanted to win. I am just happy he will get to play cricket again," he said.

Kiran defended Hardik by saying the reaction on his words were too much. "He made a mistake and apologized. I think things were blown out of proportion. He doesn't have a bad track record on the field. I have known him for long. There is not a single cricket misbehavior I remember," More said.

Hardik has been set free by BCCI and he will join India's limited-overs side on their ongoing New Zealand tour.
