India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is going through a terrible time after his appearance in the popular TV show ‘Koffee with Karan’ and his trouble doesn’t seem to end anytime soon.

Pandya appeared on the show alongside his teammate and good friend KL Rahul with renowned Bollywood director Karan Johar hosting it. The Baroda born cricketer faced the backlash after he opened up about things like not asking the names of women at parties, sending the same text to multiple women and watching them move on the dance among others.

After receiving flak from various quarters, Hardik along with Rahul was suspended pending an inquiry by BCCI and called back from the ongoing Australia tour.

And now, according to a report in mid-day, the Khar Gymkhana in Mumbai has revoked the honorary three-year membership of Pandya. Report also suggests that the membership was cancelled after fans took to Gymkhana's social media pages to express their displeasure over Pandya's "misogynistic" and "sexist" comments.

Hardik Pandya was bestowed with the membership in October 2018.

Meanwhile, Pandya and Rahul had submitted “unconditional” apologies to BCCI for their controversial remarks on the talk show. Despite the apologies, 10 BCCI units demanded a Special General Meeting to appoint an ombudsman for carrying out an inquiry.
