Daniella Anderson talked about the phase when Jimmy felt he is a bad husband.
Daniella Anderson, the wife of England cricketer James Anderson, revealed a shocking incident when they lost their child. During the miscarriage, her midwife had asked for Anderson's autograph. It was an inappropriate request at the wrong time.
In an interview with the Daily Star, she said, “The midwife was asking for James’s autograph while I was in the middle of losing our baby. It was deeply inappropriate.”
Talking about Jimmy, she said he was devasted by the news. “We talked a lot. He is a really sensitive soul and he was really upset.”
Jimmy and Danielle have two daughters: Lola, aged nine, and Ruby, aged eight.
Anderson had spoken about this tough phase in his life earlier. "In situations like this, when you’re thousands of miles away and a loved one needs you, you feel pretty hopeless as a husband," said Anderson. "All I wanted was to be with Daniella, right there and then.
"What she had to endure, and my absence so far from home highlighted the downside to being an international sportsperson. That was one of the most painful experiences of my life."
