AB de Villiers is making a comeback to cricket after announcing his retirement from all formats of the international cricket. The former South African captain will be taking part in the inaugural Mzansi Super League (MSL) which is set to be held in South Africa next month.

De Villiers, who is excited to play for Tshwane Spartans, said, "I grew up here, I love playing cricket here, and this is where it all started for me. I could not have asked for a better base to play my cricket at."

Lauding the step taken by Cricket South Africa he added, “It is a huge step in the right direction for Cricket South Africa and South African cricket. As a unit, we’ll be looking to not just pull this tournament off, but make it a great spectacle for fans around the world to enjoy."
