Ishant Sharma posts an update on his injury on social media

Ishant has been dealing with injury since long.

Ishant Sharma is recovering from his injury which he had endured during last Test against England a month back. The Delhi pacer shared a picture from his gym session to keep his fans updated.

Posting the picture of him, Ishant wrote, "Back to training...after injury recovery."

Sharma had to leave the field in the middle of the fifth Test match between India and England at Kennington Oval. He had just bowled 8 overs before walking off the field.

India will leave for Australia soon after finishing the limited-overs series against West Indies. The Virat Kohli-led side played Test series against West Indies without their main bowlers like Ishant, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Before flying to Australia, team management would be hoping for a quick recovery of Ishant who could play a vital role in India's performance Down Under.
