There were lots of debates on the rising intolerance in the country. But cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes there was no such thing like 'intolerance' ever existed in India.

During a chat session with his fans on Twitter, the former India cricketer Kaif replied to a fan's questions who requested him to answer a political question.

The fan wrote, "political question: tolerant India or intolerant India?", on which Kaif responded, "India is very tolerant. There is always room for improvement but you need to look elsewhere to know what intolerance is."

Kaif announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in July this year. He played 13 Test and 125 ODI for the Indian team. His most memorable knock is against England at the NatWest Trophy final in 2002. In an epic chase of 326 runs, the 37-year-old was the highest scorer for India. He added 87 unbeaten runs and made sure India win the series.

The Uttar Pradesh cricketer has won Ranji Trophy playing for his state. He also led the India Junior team to World Cup win in 2000.
