Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh wish Akshay Kumar as he turns 51

Akshay Kumar has won two Filmfare awards and one National Award.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar celebrates his 51^st birthday today. Regarded as one of the best actors in the industry, Akshay Kumar started his career in 1991 with Mr. Bond and became famous for his Khiladi series of films, starting from Khiladi in 1992.

Akshay has worked in over 100 movies since 1991 and has won two Filmfare awards and one National Award for best actor for his movie Rustom. He became the first Bollywood actor whose movies have crossed respectively the Rs 2000 crore (Rs 20 billion (US$290 million) in 2013 and Rs 3000 crore (Rs 30 billion (US$440 million)) in 2016 in their domestic net lifetime collection.

In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India. He is married to Twinkle Khanna, daughter of late actor Rajesh Khanna and actress Dimple Kapadia and has two children, a son, and a daughter.

Wishes poured in from everywhere for the actor and even Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh wished Akshay on his birthday.
