Harmanpreet scored 74 off 44 balls to led a foundation for Lancashire Thunder's 9-run victory over Yorkshire Diamonds.
India’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur recorded her maiden half-century in the Kia Super League at Stanley Park, Blackpool on Tuesday (August 14). Thanks to her blazing 44-ball 74, Lancashire Thunder secured a thrilling 9-run victory over Yorkshire Diamonds and kept their hopes alive for a spot in the final.
Harmanpreet’s knock was laced with four boundaries and six sixes. She was dismissed in the final over of the innings after propelling Thunder's score to 154/9 in 20 overs.
Apart from smashing the Yorkshire bowlers all over the park, Kaur also shattered a car windscreen and nearly hit BBC journalist and broadcaster Stuart Flinders on the sidelines.
