James Anderson, England’s highest wicket-taker in Tests has become the seventh English bowler to reach the 900-point mark in the latest ICC Test rankings for bowlers. His achievement comes after he picked up 9 wickets including a five-wicket haul in England’s demolition of India in the second Test at Lord’s.
Chris Woakes, who scored a brilliant 137* and also picked up four wickets in the match against India, gained 34 places to reach a career-best 50th position among batsmen while also moving up three places to 32nd among bowlers and by five places to seventh among all-rounders.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya has moved up 25 places to take the 74th spot among bowlers.
