Former India and Kings XI Punjab bowler Parvinder Awana announces retirement from cricket

Parvinder Awana played two T20Is for India against England in 2012.

Parvinder Awana, former India, and Delhi fast bowler announced his retirement from cricket with immediate effect.

Awana played 62 FC matches and 42 List-A matches for Delhi and picked 191 and 63 wickets respectively. His career spanned from 2007-2016 and he also played for Kings XI Punjab in IPL from 2012-2014 picking 39 wickets in 33 matches with a best of 4/34.

Awana also played 2 T20I matches for India, both against England in 2012, but failed to take a wicket. His best bowling performance in FC cricket came in 2011/12 season when he picked 35 wickets in 7 games for Delhi.

 Awana announced his retirement on Twitter with a message saying, “There comes a time when all good things come to an end. I would like to thank everyone who have been part of my cricketing journey and supported me at all times.
