The Pakistani International cricket team visited the Wagah Border in order to gain some inspiration and morale boost ahead of their tour to Ireland and England. The team witnessed the flag-lowering ceremony conducted at the historic venue.

Pakistani players Azhar Ali and Hasan Ali met the Indian soldiers at the border in a bid to promote peace and harmony between the neighboring countries. Azhar Ali posted a picture on Twitter with the caption, “Peace is the way forward…picture with both Pakistan and Indian soldiers at wagha border.

This peace comment came after pacer Hasan Ali mocking the Indian BSF and Indian audience by coming in midst of the flag lowering ceremony and performing his trademark ‘bomb blast’ pose.

Boys will raise slogans and enjoy some time there. I am sure this exercise would help them to increase the morale level for upcoming crucial Test series against England,” Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed was quoted as saying by Pakistantoday.com.
