Virat Kohli won the Man of the series award against New Zealand.
Virat Kohli's 32nd ODI century on Sunday, not only helped India win the series against New Zealand by a margin of 2-1; but also perched him back on top of the ICC Rankings for batsmen in one-day international (ODI) cricket with career-high rating points of 889 - which helped him break the Indian record that he previously held with Sachin Tendulkar at 887 points.
England cricket legend Michael Vaughan was amazed by the consistency in Kohli's batting which saw him destroying the Kiwi bowling attack in the 3rd and final ODI at Kanpur.

The performance forced the ex-England skipper to ask if Kohli was the greatest ever 50-over batsman.
Kohli's astonishing performance with the bat made him the sixth Indian to complete 9000 ODI runs as well as reaching the 2000-run mark in international cricket this year.
Kohli reached the 9000-run mark in the 37th over when he guided one off De Grandhomme towards the third man for a four before bagging another hundred in format.

Tendulkar tops the list with 49 hundreds and he is also the leading run-getter in the format. Kohli had a quiet series against the Australians by his standards but he was back to his best against the Black Caps and his performance today justifies just that.
Vaughan, who turned 43 on Sunday, took to Twitter to ask if Kohli was the greatest 50-over batsman there ever has been, while also admitting he wouldn't argue against it and is of the same opinion.
Is @imVkohli the Greatest ever 50 over Batsmen !??? I wouldn’t argue against it ....
