Indian cricketer and T20 World Cup 2026 winner Rinku Singh is set to marry Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj on December 4, 2026 at the Ramada Hotel in Lucknow. Since the wedding date has been confirmed, wedding preparations have started on both sides.

Apart from family members, a few close relatives as well as some honored guests are expected to attend the marriage ceremony. Rinku Singh and SP MP Priya Saroj got engaged on 8 June 2025, at The Centrum Hotel, Lucknow.

During an interview taken after his engagement in 2025, Rinku narrated the beginning of his romance with Priya. The Indian cricketer narrated how he got to know about Priya from a picture on her fan page, where he was uncertain about reaching out to her.

Nevertheless, when he noticed that she liked some of his pictures, he gained the confidence to communicate with her, and eventually, both had a quick connection.

"It started during the COVID years when the IPL was in Mumbai," Rinku said. "I saw her photo on a fan page about some voting in her village. I thought she was perfect for me, but I was unsure about texting her at first. When she liked a couple of my photos, I finally messaged her, and that's how it began. Soon, we were talking regularly, even before matches. That's when I started feeling the love in 2022," said Rinku, as quoted by the Times of India.

Rinku is currently not part of the Indian team that is playing Afghanistan in the T20I series.
