Hardik Pandya has moved to Bengaluru to work to prep for the ICC World Cup 2027.
Pandya has rented a property about 20 kilometers from the Centre of Excellence and will stay in Bengaluru during his preparations for the 2027 World Cup to provide continuity.
According to sources cited by RevSportz, the Indian all-rounder exercises for three to four hours every night, beginning at around 4 p.m. This time is specifically picked because most players have already left the facilities, giving him uninterrupted practice.
“He has also been working extensively with a plastic ball on concrete and tiled surfaces, particularly against short-pitched deliveries. The plastic ball skids sharply off the hard wicket, giving him less time to judge the line and length. The drills are designed to improve his reflexes, reaction time and back-foot play on fast and bouncy pitches,” the report read.
Every day, Pandya spends 15 to 20 minutes stretching and taping before working out for an hour. He then goes into either bowling or batting practice, depending on the schedule for the day.
He encounters throwdowns from four or five specialists in addition to local bowlers during batting practices. He typically calls in batters from outside the Center of Excellence while working in open nets on bowling days.
