India have dominated Pakistan in recent multination tournament meetings.
Speaking on the ARY Podcast, Khushdil asserted that match elements—ranging from umpiring decisions to scheduling coordinates—regularly align with India's preferences.
While former Pakistani cricketers occasionally make similar conspiracy theories, public allegations of this scale from active players who have recently represented the national team are rare.
Khushdil has played only one against India during the Champions Trophy 2025, scoring 38 runs off 39 balls and claiming 1 wicket. Pakistan ultimately lost that match in a one-sided manner.
He also featured in a pair of T20I fixtures against India in 2022, struggling to make an impact by collecting only 16 runs without taking any wickets.
“Matches against India carry a few extra emotions & then the pressure eases a bit. When we were playing, we used to beat them as well,” Khushdil said on the podcast.
“Another thing is that there are a lot of things that tend to go in their favor during matches. Umpiring decisions go in their favor, as do some dressing-room decisions & even matches are held according to their wishes. Despite all that, when Pakistan wins, it’s especially enjoyable,” he added.
India have dominated Pakistan in recent multination tournament meetings, winning both T20I and ODI clashes over the past several years.
While Pakistan did win the Super Four match during the 2022 Asia Cup, the Men in Blue have since secured six victories in T20I. Since Pakistan's historic 180-run victory in the 2017 Champions Trophy final, they have endured a tough drought against India in ODIs, suffering six consecutive defeats.
