India's Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul are all set to feature in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in January.

According to Cricbuzz, Gill is likely to appear in Punjab’s matches on January 3 and 6 against Sikkim and Goa in Jaipur. Punjab, slotted with powerhouse Mumbai in Group C, currently sit fourth with two wins from three games.
After playing two games, Gill will leave his state side to join the Indian team, which is set to assemble in Baroda on January 7-8 ahead of the ODI series opener versus New Zealand.
Jadeja has reportedly informed the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) that he will take part in the January 6 and 8 fixtures against Services and Gujarat. Saurashtra are playing their VHT league matches in Alur, Karnataka, and currently have one win from three games, placing them sixth in the eight-team group.
While the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has not confirmed KL Rahul’s participation, he’s likely to play the games scheduled against Tripura and Rajasthan in Ahmedabad on January 3 and 6, respectively. Karnataka are second in Group A, having a 100 percent win record from three matches.
Leading names of Indian cricket, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have turned up for their domestic teams in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, fulfilling the diktat issued by the BCCI.
Kohli will return to play for Delhi for their January 6 fixture against Railways under Rishabh Pant’s leadership. Left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal also returned to play for Mumbai for their fourth fixture against Goa after being hospitalised with severe stomach cramps following Mumbai's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025 match against Rajasthan on December 16.
Meanwhile, Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been exempted from the mandatory domestic commitments as the BCCI is managing his workload meticulously.
