Virat Kohli-led Indian Cricket Team has landed in Ireland on Tuesday (26 June) to embark on their limited-overs campaign in the UK starting of their tour with the two T20Is against Ireland.

After finishing their training session at the Merchant Taylor’s school in London on Monday, the Men in Blue flew to the Irish country on Tuesday to kick off their 11-week tour of the UK and Ireland.

The Indian cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik and Kohli also posted pictures from the airport prior to their departure to Dublin on their social media handles.

Hours later, Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) has shared pictures of Kohli and his brigade on their official Twitter handle to confirm that they have reached Ireland on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ireland and India will engage in a two-match T20 International series which will get underway on Wednesday (27 June) to be held at the Malahide Cricket Club ground in Dublin with the second and final T20I scheduled on June 29 at the same venue.

While the Irish team is going to enter to the home series following a thrilling T20I series win over Scotland, the Men in Blue are expected to start the English summer on winning note against the hosts before starting their crucial UK series next month, as it will be their first limited-overs’ assignment after the IPL 2018.

Following the Irish T20I, India will play against England in a  series comprising of  three T20Is, three One Day Internationals and five Tests, which will begin in July and finish in the second week of September.
