Chris Gayle will play for Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2018.
The flamboyant Caribbean batsman Chris Gayle is excited to be a part of Kings XI Punjab franchise for the IPL 2018. Gayle, who was bought by KXIP for Rs 2 crore.
Gayle recently shared a video on his Instagram account where he can be seen dancing to the song ' Mundian To Bach Ke' by British artist Panjabi MC [Rajinder Singh Rai].
Gayle has a good overall T20 record, but his recent form saw no one bid for him IPL auction 2018. He had a poor season for Royal Challengers Bangalore last year. Across nine seasons, he has 3626 runs in 101 matches including five centuries and 21 fifties.
The lanky West Indies batsman, who has a strike rate of 151.20 in IPL, can be the most destructive batsman in the world on his days.
