Rishabh Pant's 118* was triumphed by Jitesh Sharma's 85* as RCB defeated LSG by 6 wickets.
In Tuesday's IPL 2025 final league match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Lucknow Super Giants by a commanding 228 runs, thanks to Jitesh Sharma's undefeated 85 runs off 33 balls.
LSG was reduced to 227/3 in 20 overs earlier thanks to Pant's remarkable effort, which included an undefeated 118 runs from 61 deliveries and a vital 152-run second-wicket partnership with Mitchell Marsh, who struck 67 runs off 39 balls.
With eight balls left, the side won thanks to his unbroken 107-run combination with Mayank Agarwal, who scored 41 not out from 23 deliveries. Virat Kohli's rapid 54 runs from 30 balls initially set up the chase, but Sharma and Agarwal took over the innings.
Jitesh Sharma's post-match celebration, reminiscent of Avesh Khan's helmet throw from the previous season, garnered a lot of attention.
After earning the victory, Sharma celebrated by almost throwing his helmet into the air, signaling the end of the match with Avesh Khan in the frame.
Here are the videos:
