RR and RCB will square off in Jaipur on April 13.
On the eve of the IPL 2025 fixture between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), fans witnessed a wholesome moment featuring Virat Kohli and Rahul Dravid.
Dravid sustained a leg injury in a Karnataka State Cricket Association League match ahead of the start of the 18th edition of IPL. Despite being confined to a wheelchair, the 52-year-old is currently serving as RR’s head coach.
In a video shared by RR on social media, RCB stalwart Kohli can be seen walking up to Dravid and embracing the former India head coach by kneeling down.
Laughter followed, as the two icons of Indian cricket shared a warm exchange that took the internet by storm.
“Whether you’re a young one or number 18, pehle toh Rahul bhai se hi milna hai,” RR captioned the post.
In a separate post, Kohli and Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson were seen laughing controllably, highlighting the healthy camaraderie between the two teams.
RCB also shared a post of Kohli’s interaction with Dravid on their official X account with the caption, “???? Wall ???? King ???? A Royal meet-up indeed. ????”.
During their clash, both RCB and RR will looking to bounce back after recent losses to Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans respectively. Currently, RCB occupy fourth spot in team standings while RR are at seventh, desperate to climb the table.
