Dhoni effected another magical stumping in his illustrious IPL career.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently hosting Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match 8 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium.
CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and elected to bowl first. In the marquee clash, Phil Salt was looking in ominous touch but the RCB opener’s stay at the crease was cut short by MS Dhoni’s brilliance behind the stumps.
During the fifth over of RCB’s innings, Salt stretched forward to play an inside out drive against Noor Ahmad but the ball spun away and the batter was beaten on the outside edge.
Even though the back foot went up only for a second, it was enough time for Dhoni to light up the bails and effect another magical stumping in his illustrious IPL career.
As a result, Phil Salt walked back to the pavilion after scoring 32 off 16 balls with five boundaries and one six.
