Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have come under severe scrutiny for a social media post ahead of the start of the 2025 season.
LSG shared a video featuring South African star David Miller on X. In the viral clip, Miller is asked to pick his biggest heartbreak among games like the T20 World Cup 2024 final and other cricket defeats that Miller has faced.
The content of the video hasn’t gone down well with the fans as they slammed the franchise for being inconsiderate.
Miller had to pick between his worst heartbreaks in cricket. Starting with defeats in IPL finals like 2023 and 2014, the southpaw then had to choose among losses suffered in ICC events, such as the T20 World Cup 2024 final, ODI World Cup 2023 semi-final and Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final.
The video drew widespread criticism as the netizens attacked LSG for releasing such a video with their own player.

LSG will be led by Rishabh Pant in IPL 2025. The franchise shelled out a record amount of Rs 27 crore to sign the wicketkeeper-batter at the mega-auction last November.
The LSG squad also includes big names like Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram among others. Pace-bowling sensation Mayank Yadav features in the line-up as well.
Lucknow Super Giants will open their IPL 2025 campaign on March 24 against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam.
