RR have now moved to Qualifier 2 where they will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday in Chennai. The winner of this match will clash with KKR in the IPL 2024 final in Chennai on Sunday.

While the Royal Challengers received virtual pats on their back from several netizens, a vast majority of whom were RCB fans, some fans mocked RCB as well. These netizens were fans of rival franchises with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) die-hard fans unleashed a barrage of memes targeting the three-time runners-up.

One such meme was shared by CSK bowler Tushar Deshpande on his Instagram story, which he later deleted. The post Deshpande shared was by Instagram account ‘cskfansofficial’ which had an image of the Bengaluru Cant. Railway Station with the caption, “Nothing just a railway station in Bengaluru!”.

The Maharashtra seamer further wrote, “CSK fans are built differently” while tagging the account.

However, before Deshpande deleted the story, it was seen by many cricket fans and he was slammed for mocking RCB, especially after it was the Virat Kohli-starred side that defeated CSK in their final league stage game to qualify for the playoffs.
