Shah Rukh Khan interrupted the commentators while taking a lap of honour after KKR's win over SRH.
After the win, KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was seen taking a lap of honour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to greet fans.
In the process, Shah Rukh unknowingly interrupted commentators Suresh Raina, Aakash Chopra and Parthiv Patel during the on-field broadcast.
Upon realizing his mistake, the King of Bollywood apologized to the trio in the middle of his victory lap. He also hugged the three former Indian cricketers.
As the video of the incident went viral on social media, Raina took to his X handle and mentioned how despite being a star, Shah Rukh was 'down-to-earth'.
Aakash Chopra was effusive in praise of SRH, as he tweeted: “He’s an absolute legend. Lots of love and respect”.
Coming to the match, left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc (3-34 in 4 overs) wreaked havoc with the new ball as KKR bundled out SRH for a below-par 159 in 19.3 overs.
In reply, the Knight Riders rode on half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer (58* off 24) and Venkatesh Iyer (51* off 28) to overhaul the target with 38 deliveries to spare.
KKR will now prepare for the IPL 2024 final, slated to be held in Chennai on Sunday (May 26).
