Virat Kohli looked in his element during RCB’s do-or-die match against CSK at the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday (May 18).
Opening the innings, Kohli slammed 19 not out off 9 balls with one boundary and two sixes before rain interrupted play. Thanks to his blitz, RCB reached 31/0 in just three overs.
Kohli was particularly severe on Tushar Deshpande before the rain break, smashing both the sixes against the CSK seamer.
In the first delivery of the third over, Deshpande bowled a back of a length delivery and Kohli pulled it over long leg for a huge six. The RCB star picked the length early and his maximum hit the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Virat Kohli produced another brilliant shot two deliveries later. As Deshpande dragged the length back, Kohli gave the charge and played a pull over square leg to fetch six more runs.
