Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Virat Kohli continued his brilliant run of form in the ongoing IPL season as he slammed a stunning century against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on Saturday (April 6).

Opening the innings, Kohli started off cautiously but paced his innings perfectly. The right-hander notched up his half-century in 39 balls and in the process, he added 125 runs for the opening wicket with Faf du Plessis.

While the RCB captain got out after scoring 44 off 33 balls, Kohli held the one firmly. He put a peddle on the accelerator after the 15th over and found boundaries quite frequently.

On the fourth delivery of the penultimate over, Virat Kohli reached the three-figure mark off 67 balls. He got there with a single against Nandre Burger. It was Kohli’s eighth hundred in the Indian Premier League.

In the final over, Kohli smashed Avesh Khan for three boundaries to finish with 113 not out off 72 balls, including 12 fours and 4 sixes. Thanks to his knock, RCB posted a highly challenging 183/3 on the board.

For carrying his bat through in the RCB innings, Virat Kohli received rich praise from the cricket fraternity on social media.
